Ingredients:
- 8 lamb chops
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons fresh mint leaves, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions:
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, olive oil, minced garlic, ground cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
- Place the lamb chops in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the lamb chops from the marinade and discard any excess marinade.
- Grill the lamb chops for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness is reached.
- In a separate bowl, mix Greek yogurt, chopped mint leaves, and lemon juice to make the mint yogurt sauce.
- Serve the grilled lamb chops hot with the mint yogurt sauce on the side for dipping.
Cooking time: 20 minutes (plus marinating time)
Tips:
For extra flavor, add a pinch of ground cinnamon or coriander to the marinade. You can also substitute lamb chops with chicken or beef if preferred.
