Quick and easy stir-fry featuring tender beef strips, colorful vegetables, and a savory sauce.

Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients:

  1. 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  2. 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  3. 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  4. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  5. 2 cloves garlic, minced
  6. 1 onion, sliced
  7. 1 bell pepper, sliced
  8. 1 cup broccoli florets
  9. 1/2 cup sliced carrots
  10. 1/4 cup beef broth

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine sliced beef, soy sauce, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 15-30 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add minced garlic and sliced onion, and cook until fragrant.
  3. Add marinated beef to the skillet and stir-fry until browned.
  4. Add sliced bell pepper, broccoli florets, and sliced carrots to the skillet. Stir-fry for a few minutes until vegetables are crisp-tender.
  5. Pour in beef broth and cook for another minute, until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Serve hot cooked rice or noodles.
